Confusing. Over-plotted
Everything has to fall into place to make this plot work. It crosses and recrosses time switching from past to present with convenient memory lapses by the protagonists. Lots of characters but most of them just a cardboard facade (or two). At the end, most of the villains punished but one cared little about them or the protagonist. Save yourself the money and time.

Wow. Im guessing that I have read more Fiction Mystery Books than most people. With that in mind, I have to say that "The Black Book" is in the Top 3 if not the best book I've read. Thank you James Patterson, Thank you!!! It goes without saying there aren't enough stars to show how highly I feel about this work & how strongly I recommend it.

Confusing. Over-plotted
Everything has to fall into place to make this plot work. It crosses and recrosses time switching from past to present with convenient memory lapses by the protagonists. Lots of characters but most of them just a cardboard facade (or two). At the end, most of the villains punished but one cared little about them or the protagonist. Save yourself the money and time.
